Attorney Jermel Singleton built his legal and business foundation through discipline, dedication, and a commitment to lifelong learning. He earned his Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law, completing the Evening Division while working full-time in the New York State court system — an experience that instilled resilience, perspective, and a deep respect for justice.

Before law school, Jermel earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and later completed a Business Certification Program at Columbia University, further strengthening his understanding of finance, entrepreneurship, and organizational strategy.

This blend of legal education, business training, and real-world experience equips him to advise clients with precision and practicality — bridging the gap between law, commerce, and long-term strategic growth.

Community engagement has always been a core part of Jermel Singleton’s professional identity. Throughout his career, he has dedicated time and legal skills to supporting others and expanding access to opportunity.

Jermel has served as a mentor through Big Brothers Big Sisters and a volunteer with Fiver Children’s Foundation (fiver.org), organizations that empower youth through mentorship, education, and personal development. He also provides pro bono representation in criminal record expungement matters in Washington, D.C., helping individuals move forward with renewed confidence and opportunity.

During his tenure in Big Law, Jermel was recognized as a Pro Bono Champion, leading initiatives that promoted equal access to justice and community impact.
