JSingleton Law LLC (“the Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit our website, communicate with our office, or opt into our SMS messaging service.


This Policy applies to our operations in New Jersey and New York, where JSingleton Law LLC is authorized to practice law. We do not market or provide services to children under the age of 18.

  • Schedule consultations, process payments, and manage billing
  • Send updates, appointment reminders, or notifications related to your matter
  • Provide SMS messaging updates (if you opt in)
  • Comply with legal, ethical, or regulatory obligations
     

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.

 

3. Data Retention

We retain client and contact information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected and in accordance with professional and legal record-keeping obligations.


SMS subscriber data will be retained only while you remain subscribed. You may request deletion at any time.

 

4. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards — including 256-bit SSL encryption — to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.


While we take reasonable steps to secure your data, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

 

5. SMS Messaging Terms and Conditions

By opting into our SMS messaging service, you agree to the following terms:


Data Collection:


We collect your name, email address, mailing address, and mobile phone number when you sign up for SMS updates. Information may be collected via our website contact form, email, engagement letter, or third-party systems.


Data Usage:

We use your data solely for sending account notifications, appointment reminders, customer service updates, and limited marketing communications related to JSingleton Law LLC.  You will also receive account alerts and promotional messages. 


Data Security:

Your data is stored securely and protected against unauthorized access.


Data Retention:

We retain your information only while you are subscribed to our SMS service. You may request deletion at any time.


Message and Data Rates:

MESSAGE AND DATA RATES MAY APPLY. Your carrier may charge fees for sending or receiving text messages, especially if you do not have an unlimited plan.


Message Frequency:

Messages are recurring, and frequency may vary depending on your interaction with our office.


Contact for Help or Opt-Out:

You can contact JSingleton Law LLC at (212) 401-0073 or privacy@jsingletonlaw.com for assistance, or to STOP receiving messages.


Opt-Out:

You may opt out at any time by texting, emailing, or replying “STOP” or “UNSUBSCRIBE.”
After unsubscribing, you will receive a final SMS confirming your opt-out, and your number will be removed within 24 hours.


Help Command:

Text “HELP” for assistance. You will receive a message with our contact phone number, email, and website.


Non-Sharing Clause:

We do not share, sell, or rent your data — including mobile numbers — with third parties for marketing purposes.

 

6. Data Sharing

  • Customer data is not shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
  • Mobile opt-in and consent data are never shared with anyone for any reason.
  • Any general information sharing referenced elsewhere in this Policy excludes mobile opt-in data.

 

7. Messaging Consent

By providing your phone number and agreeing to receive texts, you consent to receive text messages from JSingleton Law LLC regarding account notifications, customer service, and limited marketing updates.


Consent is not a condition of purchase or representation. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.

You may reply “STOP” or “CANCEL” to unsubscribe at any time or “HELP” for assistance.
Mobile opt-in data is never shared with third parties.

 

8. Your Rights

You may:


  • Request access to the information we maintain about you
  • Request correction or deletion of inaccurate data
  • Withdraw consent for SMS or marketing communications
  • Request a copy of this Privacy Policy at any time
